What is Shopify?
Shopify is an ecommerce platform that makes selling online, direct to consumer easy. It has all the ecommerce and point of sale (POS) features you need to start, run, and grow your business.
Ecommerce has many complicated areas which a newcomer may not fully appreciate at first. Shopify helps to cover all those aspects whilst providing an easy to use interface for managing your products and only taking a small cut of each sale.

A step up from the basic Shopify package, Shopify Plus adds extra functionality such as:
- The ability to launch stores dedicated to different countries e.g. you can have a store for the UK and a different store for USA.
- Set up a password-protected storefront alongside your website for wholesale orders .
- A reduced transaction fee on all orders.
Shopify Plus is not for the faint of heart, it is expensive. So we always advise to start your new store with Shopify’s basic package and only upgrade once you feel the store is a financial success.
